...and my God shall supply ALL your need.....

Truly God is faithful.  I have to admit that sometimes it seems a bit overwhelming to know that the needs of this ministry rest on my shoulders.  Then I remember that they don't!  The needs rest on God's shoulders.  At the beginning of this year I was assailed by some immediate needs in the ministry, plus my heart's desire to bless our team with outings and retreats.  It seemed impossible.  The needs and desires were outside of our budget.  Still, I took those things to the Lord in prayer and began to trust in Him.

Interestingly enough, every need and every desire that I layed before the Lord has been met.  Living a life of faith and trusting solely in the Lord is an adventure.  I have the chance to see miracles happen every day.  What seemed impossible and overwhelming just a few months ago is now a need met and a testimony to be told.

Everything from much needed prizes and gifts to a day at the pool for our team has come our way.  Food to help dozens of families has been supplied.  Clothes for the 100 plus children in the Little Giants Club have been donated.  And not only have the clothes been donated, but the cost of retreiving the clothes has been covered!!!!!  Last year's CD player had gotten pretty difficult to use.  We had to hit it in just the right spot, pray over it, and just about anoint the thing with oil just so it would halfway work!  By the goodness of God we now have 2 new CD players.

One of the families we minister to has a specail needs daughter.  This sweet girl is full of smiles and laughs whenever our team visits her.  She cannot walk and the older she gets the harder it is for her mother to get out as she cannot carry her.  Trini, a team member, is in the process of obtaining a donated wheelchair from another ministry thus blessing the life of this family.

There are times when I wonder where the next penny will come from.  There are times when the needs far outweigh our natural ability.  At moments I wonder if we will be able to continue some of our programs... and then miracles such as these come to pass.  Our needs are met in supernatural ways.  Whenever the going seems difficult I can look back at moments like these and remember what the Lord has done.  This is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in my eyes!!!!

To every person and church who has been a vessel to meet these needs - THANK YOU.  To each individual that has sown into this ministry and our lives - GOD BLESS YOU.    We truly are blessed to have such friends.
